Mohamed El Gazzar

Mohamed El Gazzar is a Partner of I Squared Capital, responsible for infrastructure strategy in Europe. Since joining I Squared Capital in 2013, Mohamed has led the acquisition and development of portfolio companies encompassing thermal, renewables and utilities and has recently diversified to include transportation and social infrastructure. Mohamed has held seats on various boards and currently serves on the boards of Energia Group, Grupo T-Solar, Conrad Energy, TIP Trailer Services and Domidep.

Before joining I Squared Capital, Mohamed spent 12 years at Morgan Stanley. Mohamed holds an L.L.B. with Honors from Warwick University in the United Kingdom. He lives in London and is fluent in English and Arabic.

Damian Darragh

Damian Darragh is the executive chairman at Conrad Energy Ltd, a new entrant to the Great Britain energy market. Damian has a successful track record of setting up and sponsoring Independent Power Projects having built 3 successful power generation companies in Infinis (UK), Everpower (USA) and RTR (Italy) through organic and buy-to-build growth strategy. He had a 20 year career with Terra Firma where he latterly a Managing Director. He is also an advisor to I Squared Capital, a non-executive director at Cory Environmental and a non-executive at the Viridian Group.

Gautam Bhandari

Gautam Bhandari is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of I Squared Capital, an independent multi-billion-dollar global infrastructure investment company. The company specializes in infrastructure investments with over $13 billion of assets under management in the energy, utilities, transport, telecom, and social infrastructure sectors in the U.S., Europe and select high-growth economies including China, India and Latin America. Prior to I Squared Capital, Gautam spent 11 years at Morgan Stanley in New York and Asia, where he was Managing Director and Head of Asia for Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, a $4-billion global infrastructure fund.

Gautam holds an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he was an Amerada Hess Merit Scholar, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Delaware, where he was the University Merit Fellow and recipient of the Joel L. Silver Award for the best doctoral dissertation work. Gautam also holds 20 patents in the semiconductor industry.
